Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Happy Valentine's Day! Um, and happy today day!

It's been a while since I've updated, oof. I didn't mean to go this long between posts, but my Tamagotchi hyperfixation took a bit of a hiatus. I think I also felt pressured to write in here which is silly because I’m the only one putting that pressure on myself, but still. I set expectations for myself and when I’m no longer willing or able to meet them I run. Ugh.

A lot still happened Tamagotchi-wise while I've been focused on other things, but not too much, as I've had them all mostly on pause and eventually even took all the batteries out. Though I do have a new Tama I really really REALLY wanna start soon, so hopefully there will be more of that one! I'll first go through all the updates I have for the Tama's I was running at the time, and then I'll talk about life stuff and Tama plans.

Daisy Lovers RV3

Mikan did eventually marry an Otokitchi, however it was not Clear the Otokitchi… Oops. More on her in a bit. Mikan had a baby boy before I took his batteries out, though!

Clear RV3

So… Clear passed away. I overslept one morning and woke up to the sound of her dying. I woke up in time to reset and download, but she went right back to dying. It seems like on the RV3 it saves the data once the death process begins, so you can’t cheat it anymore. I still tried several times but no, I couldn’t save her.

I restarted the device, got another girl, and did another run so I could still have an Otokitchi to marry to Mikan, but I didn’t log any of that. When I pick this Tama back up I’ll probably just reset and start over. RIP, Clear.

Dolphin V3

Oof, where to begin… This one’s a long update. last I left off, Gill had left his son and I left him on the crying screen for a while. Well, I left him on the crying screen for so long that he started to glitch out. I noticed one day that along with the tears, a Z popped up to show that he was also sleeping. I still didn’t start him at that point, though, so I went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning the battery was dead, so I replaced it and hit download, and it completely skipped past the naming screen and acted like I was already raising the baby. But there was more weirdness.

Instead of being 0 years old, having no name, and being on Generation 3, he was actually 8 years old, named Gill, and still on Gen 2. It seems that somehow leaving him on the crying screen for so long + letting the battery die restarted Gen 2, though looking in the family history, it shows Gill the Mimitchi as his parent too. Just total weirdness!!

I took this chance to try and get Mimitchi again so I could once again attempt having a forever-Mimitchi, and I even felt like I was on the right track after getting Young Mimitchi as a teen again. But as fate would have it I did not get Mimitchi, and instead Gill 2 evolved into Decotchi. Thinking about it now, it’s actually pretty fitting that Gill 2 became the frankentama, what with his glitchiness and all. He continued to age up from 8 years old as a baby, and by the time I married him to a Wooltchi he was 15.

They had a baby girl that I named Frill, to keep up with the naming theme lol. I didn’t really pay much attention to her unfortunately, as this is when I was burnt out completely. She unsurprisingly ended up evolving into Masktchi, married another Masktchi, and had a baby boy, and that is when I took the batteries out. Oh, but I did also want to mention that the picture I took of her as a teen was at a restaurant where they had an image of an airplane window taped to the bathroom wall. Weird, lol.

The batteries had to come out for him, too. He’ll still be there when I come back to him, though!

Well, let’s see. I’ve gotten a lot more Tamagotchi’s since I last updated, hehe. That reminds me, I need to update my collection list soon. Guuuuuuh. But! The new Tamagotchi’s I’ve gotten between last update and this one:

Other Tama stuff I’ve gotten includes the entire Daiso collab, a transparent blue replacement shell for my Blue Paradise, a case for the Paradise, both of the Paradise lanyards, a custom Tamagotchi keytag, the Lesapantchi carrying pouch, and a bunch of different Gachapon things.

The Tamagotchi I’m really wanting to start soon is the Pool RV3. It is absolutely gorgeous and I love it so so so much. After I post this I will most likely finally begin playing with it, but I’m holding off until I can finish with this update!

In other news, I am moving soon. After seven years of living in my current apartment, I am finally moving into a bigger place in May. It’s still an apartment but it’s going to be so much nicer, oh my gosh I’m so excited! It’s going to have more room, a wrap-around balcony, a study… I’m looking forward to it so much that I’ve already begun decluttering and packing some of my things. I tend to get ahead of myself when I’m excited, oops. I’m also very stressed about it too, though, because of all the cleaning and preparation that will go into this. But I guess I’d rather be stressed about it now and get things smoothed out in time for the move, than to be stressed and rushing during the move.

Things will work out okay, I’m confident in that.
